MEWP mechanical and technical failures was one of the top seven fatal incident trends as listed on the Global Safety Report 2022. Every MEWP breakdown not only has an impact on safety, but also on efficiency, and has a knock-on effect on the wider project. Minimising the risk of mechanical and technical failure is key to maximising safety, reliability, and prolonging the lifespan of a MEWP. This webinar will explore how to prevent downtime of a MEWP through implementation of an effective maintenance and inspection programme. We’ll also hear from a rental company, a manufacturer and a contractor to glean their insights on how they plan for the foreseeable, and the unforeseeable, in terms of out of service MEWPs. A panel discussion will also be hosted showing how sharing feedback from all parties is instrumental to improving safety and reducing machine failure.
