The Foundation for Financial Planning and the Financial Behavior Keynote Group have partnered together to present a series of webinar talks delving into the topic of financial behavior and wellbeing, and how advisors can use the field’s learnings during pro bono engagements to better connect with and impact their clients.
We hope that both financial advisors and nonprofit leaders can join us for this 60-minute webinar talk, “The Psychology of Money: Understanding a Client’s Financial Decisions” presented by Dr. Mary Bell Carlson, CFP®, AFC®, financial behavior expert, speaker and author.
Recognition of the impact of psychology on financial decisions is ever increasing, as is evidenced by the CFP Board’s recent decision to include components of psychology in the updated CFP® examination. This webinar will focus on the impact of psychology on clients’ financial decisions, with an emphasis on communication essentials that can be applied directly in practice.
This webinar is eligible for CFP® and AFC® Continuing Education (CE/CEU) credit. To obtain CE/CEU credit, you must attend at least 50 minutes of this webinar. Reporting instructions are below:
• AFC® professionals should submit their CEU credit request directly to AFCPE.
