Elbridge Colby | Future of Conservative Foreign Policy Ep. 7

Elbridge Colby served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Strategy and Force Development from 2017-2018, where he was responsible for the drafting of the 2018 National Defense Strategy. He is most recently the author of Strategy of Denial: American Defense in an Age of Great Power Competition. We will discuss the role of the NDS in American strategic planning, his views on competition with China and the defense of Taiwan, and U.S. military
strategy in the context of great power rivalry.
