Switch Access 101: The Who, What, Where, When and How
Are you new to using switches with your students? Are you familiar with switches yet overwhelmed with how to figure out what you need to get started? Then this is the webinar for you! In this session we will review a variety of switches, switch placement, switch interfaces, switch latch timers, and fun switch activities to help you support your teams and students in getting hundreds of switch hits a day. You will leave with concrete ideas for activities and a resource guide to help your teams come up with both on screen and screen less switch activities.

Learning Outcomes:

Participants will be able to:
- Name 3 different types of switches and when you might use each type.
- Describe 3 parts of the body, other than the hands, where switches can be mounted to decrease cognitive load for the student.
- State one on screen switch activity and one screen less switch activity and what tools will be needed to make it work effectively.
