In 2021, Phyllis was named Senior Vice President of Safety. This role augments Wells’ world class safety culture striving to achieve zero harm. She leads employees on administration of safety and health policies, oversees compensation benefits and ensures incidents are reported and investigated. She has over 30 years of experience in safety and human resources leadership.
Tom Peterson
Safety Director of Field Services | Midwest @Wells
Tom Peterson, Safety Director of Field Services, has worked Wells for over 14 years. During his time, he became highly skilled in construction and operations management, and was certified in single person rigging and powered industrial trucks. Tom has bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Iowa State University.
Veronica Miramontes
Safety Director | Mountain States @Wells
Veronica joined Wells in 2013 as the Safety Training Coordinator, after eight years with the team she was promoted to the Mountain States Safety Director position. Veronica is responsible for the health and safety of the Brighton Manufacturing Facility employees, as well as field erection, finishing and waterproofing. Veronica is a OSHA Authorized General Industry and Construction Trainer.
Corey Simpson
Environmental Health & Safety Manager | Great Lakes @Wells
Corey Simpson has over 10 years of experience in the mining and construction industry. Corey has spent the last nine years working as the Environmental Health and Safety Manager in Wells Great Lakes region, and a year as a Materials Performance Technician.
