These public meetings will allow the Maryland Citizens Redistricting Commission to present their recommended congressional and legislative district maps to Marylanders for commentary and engagement from the community. The Citizens Map Submission portal will reopen during Round 3 for the public to comment on the Commission's maps as well to submit suggested edits and recommendations. If you are registering to provide LIVE TESTIMONY regarding a map, you MUST submit your plan no later than 24 hours in advance of the meeting. You must also reference the map submission identification number. This identification number will have been emailed to anyone submitting a map. All map submissions will be posted to the redistricting website. Members of the public can comment on any map but must provide the map identification number upon registration. This meeting will be virtual with closed-captioning available. Instructions as to how the public can submit maps/comments/testimony in advance will be posted in the upcoming meetings section of the redistricting.maryland.gov website.
