Beyond the Plate
If your eating habits took a turn for the worse during the pandemic, or if you rely on food for emotional support, this series may help you gain healthy perspectives.

Presenter Mary Balog is a registered dietitian and certified intuitive eating counselor. She will explore the physical, mental and emotional health implications of our diets, and introduce a “non-diet” approach that helps people find their own optimal eating patterns and nutritional food choices.

The series also takes us beyond the plate to examine food and cultural identity; the benefits of seasonal food choices; and food as a means of social connection and artistic expression.

All sessions are free and will last one hour. After registering, you'll receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
