As we continue our understanding of Multiple Sclerosis through the lifespan, we will transition to the phase of life involving family planning. This is a complex stage of life especially when adding a new diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis into the mix. Dr. Samudralwar will discuss the intersection between family planning, diagnosis of MS, and navigating disease modifying therapies for both men and women. By the end of the program, you will have a basic framework of what to expect when balancing a diagnosis of MS at key stages of the family planning process.

Samudralwar, MD (Assistant Professor @University of Pennsylvania) Dr. Rohini Samudralwar is an assistant professor at the University of Pennsylvania and a Philadelphia native. She is fellowship trained in Multiple Sclerosis and related disorders with a particular interest in patient and medical trainee education. She also has training in other rare neuroinflammatory conditions that can mimic Multiple Sclerosis. She is passionate about the intersection of women’s health and Multiple Sclerosis care especially providing support before, during, and after pregnancy.
