These three very talented and experienced women will join Dennis for an insightful conversation about how marketing and sales efforts have changed and how such programs are impacted moving into the future, as well as how trade shows and expos have been impacted and what trends can be expected in the years to come.

Dennis Speigel

Internationally recognized as a leader and expert in the amusement industry with over 50 years of experience, Dennis Speigel founded International Theme Park Services, Inc. (ITPS) in 1983. Dennis began his career in the amusement industry as a ticket taker at age 13, and this passion has blossomed into a lifelong calling. His vast experience in analyzing, developing, planning, designing, opening, and managing theme parks and attractions has made Dennis a sought-after speaker, consultant, teacher, and advisor. He is past Chairman of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), currently serves on its Advisory Board, and has been awarded not only its Meritorious Service Award, but also its Lifetime Achievement Award for his illustrious service to the industry. Dennis has led his longtime team in working on over 500 projects in 50 countries and prides himself on providing services that brings smiles to people’s faces.
Sara Seay
Vice President of Administration, Sales and Marketing @Premier Rides
Sara Seay is Vice President of Administration, Sales and Marketing at Premier Rides, a supplier of innovative rides that use cutting-edge technology. Premier’s attractions are loved by hundreds of millions worldwide. Celebrating 30 years in the industry in 2021, she began her career at Lagoon, honing skills while gaining operations knowledge to successfully manage Guest Relations and serve as a Park Director. She worked at Utah’s Hogle Zoo before joining Premier Rides where she leads marketing, graphic design, business development and sales. Seay studied mechanical engineering at the University of Utah before shifting to Hospitality Management. Seay was honored with the NEAAPA Paragon Award for excellence in marketing and was featured in Amusement Today and Funworld as a woman of influence. She is a member of many groups including IAAPA, TEA, ASTM F24 and AIMS. Seay is dedicated to philanthropic interests including the Living Classrooms Foundation and Give Kids the World.
Chloe Hausfeld
Director of Marketing & Business Development @JRA
Chloe provides sales and relationship management support for current and future clients. Her outgoing personality allows her to connect with people from around the world and establish relationships that are the cornerstone of JRA’s business. To support her business development responsibilities, Chloe travels extensively, attending industry events, as well as participating in client meetings, supporting JRA’s customer relations efforts on numerous projects across the globe. Through her passion and work ethic, she has helped to develop new markets for JRA, while serving as an active advocate for the attractions industry. Chloe was the 2017 recipient of the IAAPA Young Professional of the Year Award, having also served on the Subcommittee. She joined the IAAPA BOD in 2020, is currently serving on the Executive Finance Committee, Give Kids the World Committee, Service Awards Committee, Space Allocation Committee, and is in her second term with IAAPA’s Global M&S Committee.
Katrina Verweel
Tradeshow and Events Manager @WhiteWater West
Katrina Verweel is passionate about bringing people together, whether it be in a tradeshow booth, a party celebrating clients and partners, or at a networking and educational event. She began her career in event planning over 10 years ago, starting out by executing large charity events while planning weddings on the side. Katrina then found herself planning conferences and seminars before accepting a position in the theme park and attractions industry, managing all tradeshows and events for WhiteWater around the world. In and out of her professional life, she often finds herself in the middle of planning fun and memorable events for the people around her. Katrina’s ideal day on the job is to be on-site managing an event; her favorite part is the adrenaline and energy at the start of any occasion. Her favorite event, to date, was at IAAPA Europe, in 2018, when she took VIP clients and partners on a sight-seeing bike tour around Amsterdam, ending at a beautiful historic botanical garden.
