This webinar will use the most up-to-date data to reveal the emerging trends in the types of books Canadians are buying. Are Canadians still buying backlist? Are we letting go of mysteries and thrillers but walking into the embrace of Romance? BookNet Canada SalesData expert Monique Mongeon and Ampersand’s Pavan Ranu dig deep into the data to show you the book subjects on the move and uncover the relationship between trends in gift product and whether they’re similar to subject trends in books!

Monique Mongeon has always been fascinated with the intersection of books and technology – from her start making fansites for her favourite books, to her current role as Project Manager at BookNet Canada. Monique also teaches ebook production at Toronto Metropolitan University’s Chang School. Prior to joining BookNet, Monique worked in ebook production for Penguin Random House Canada.
