UPR Philippines webinar

On the 15th of February IBON Europe, ICHRP-Europe, Karapatan, Viva Salud, ACPAU, and CHD are co-organizing a webinar on the UPR process of the Philippines. Cristina Palabay, Kat Berza and Associació Catalana per la Pau will be looking back to the process that took place last November, but also looking forward to the possibilities and challenges ahead on the human rights in the Philippines.

The UPR is a State-driven process, under the auspices of the Human Rights Council, which provides the opportunity for each State to declare what actions they have taken to improve the human rights situations in their countries and to fulfill their human rights obligations.

This webinar will bring together key actors from across the EU to learn more about the state of the Universal Periodic Review on the Philippines, share what we have learned in the process and identify synergies and ways of working together in defining concrete recommendations for action.
