Queer Leadership is celebrating our unique strengths, prioritising authenticity, embracing our queerness, listening to our bodies, applying compassion, influencing with integrity, transforming our state of awareness and fundamentally challenging ‘the norm’ and the barriers we face. When we practice Queer Leadership, we open ourselves up to new exciting possibilities as leaders - within our organisations, but also as members of the LGBTQ+ community.

She designs, delivers and assesses Diversity & Inclusion leadership and management training in a range of organisations. Her work takes her all over the world, albeit now mainly by zoom. Two years ago, Ali trained as a holistic coach specialising in romantic relationships. She works with individuals and couples, in the LGBTQIA+ community who follow a range of relationship designs. She is a TEDx speaker and columnist for DIVA Magazine, Europe’s largest publication for LGBTQIA+ women. Ali’s work as a trainer and a coach drive her commitment to creating the space for humans to embrace change within a safe container. Denny Tu (He/Him ) Denny serves as Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President at IMAX. Prior to joining the Company, from 2011 to 2017, he was Head of Strategy, Brand & Creative at Sky. Denny is a long-time advocate of diversity & inclusion in the corporate world. In June 2016, he was recognized in the Financial Times inaugural "100 Leading Ethnic Minorities Power List". He also ranks #9 in The Telegraph’s most recent Top 50 LGBT Executives List and #75 in The Guardian’s Power Pride List. A dual UK & US citizen, he serves on the Board of Trustees of Ditch The Label, Global Patron for London-based human rights charity Camden Forum and Advisory Board Member for The Economist's Pride & Prejudice Global Conference. He is now based in Los Angeles. Maylis Djikalou (She/Her ) Maylis is the Programme Director at We Create Space. By profession, she is a transformational coach and consultant who has worked at the intersection of creative and mental health industries for over a decade; curating international events and strategic partnerships to promote wellbeing in the workplace as competitive advantage. Her lived experience and previous struggles with addiction have inspired an ongoing journey in service of marginalised communities. Through empathy and openness, Maylis uses a person-centred approach to facilitate and allow space for others to see themselves as whole, complete, and capable to bring their vision to life. Michael Stephens (He/They ) Michael is the founder of We Create Space. He is a Creative Director, Story-Teller and Community Builder. He loves to bring people together on a common mission and create magic. He spent over 10 years working for some of the world’s most respected British brands - including i-D Magazine, Vice Media, Liberty London, Ted Baker and Virgin Atlantic - but diverted from his original career path after overcoming a series of life-changing mental health challenges. He now works with leaders, communities and organisations to help promote the importance of prioritising self-care and personal-growth alongside professional development, predominantly within the lgbtq+ communities.
