Register now to learn more about the Community Heart & Soul Coach Training Program. Community Heart & Soul Coaches help residents in small cities and towns identify what they love most about their community, the future they want for it, and how to achieve it.

Participants in this 60-min webinar will learn about the benefits of becoming a Community Heart & Soul Coach, the two levels of the training program, and next steps to join our 2022 Coach Cohort starting in August. You'll hear from Community Heart & Soul staff and two Coaches, who will share their experiences as training program participants and their work with Heart & Soul communities.

Prior to joining Community Heart & Soul, she lived on the island of Saint Lucia in the Eastern Caribbean where she was Director of Programming and Training at United States Peace Corps/Eastern Caribbean. Joan Wagner (Senior Associate, Training @Community Heart & Soul) Joan designs and delivers training for Community Heart & Soul Coaches and serves as a mentor to those working with Heart & Soul communities across the U.S. Before joining Community Heart & Soul, she directed the Center for Community Engaged Learning at St. Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont. Cassie Turner (Community Engagement Officer and Heart & Soul Coach @The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation) Cassie's responsibilities include facilitating the Heart & Soul process in Hancock County, Ohio. She supports past Heart & Soul communities' efforts and is working on identifying and building relationships with the next village partner. Prior to coming to the Foundation, Cassie was a 4-H Youth Development Educator for 15 years with Ohio State University Extension. Ian Moran (Heart & Soul Coach ) Ian lives in Winslow, New Jersey and enjoys working within his community as a soccer coach and President of the township youth soccer association. He is the past chair of the Parent/Community Advisory Board of his local Family Success Center and is currently a member of the Winslow Board of Education Citizens Advisory Committee. His background is in higher education student support and administration in the United Kingdom, but since moving to New Jersey he has moved into information technology and website development.
