To kick-off Mental Health Awareness month in October, MOOD has partnered with Tonic Media Network and UnLtd to bring you another MOOD Tea Break webinar. This special event will address the link between alcohol and mental health and smash the stigma around sobriety.
As we look forward to life after lockdown, back to meetings and industry gatherings with a beer or glass of wine in hand, there’s no better time to unpack this issue in a very practical way. Hosted by Dr. Norman Swan, this webinar will share tools and methods to help you implement healthier habits around alcohol use as well as finding resilience to face the pressure we can feel to ‘keep up’.
Our panel includes media industry figure and Chief Sales Officer at JCDecaux Australia, Oliver Newton, and Professor Maree Teesson, prevention and intervention specialist in mental health and substance use at Sydney University’s “Matilda Centre”. They will also be joined by Professor Frances Kay-Lambkin from the University of Newcastle, psychologist and expert in CBT and mindfulness based stress reduction.
