About OIED:

OIED was established by the Department of Interior’s Assistant Secretary - Indian Affairs in 2005 to promote the economic development of American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities. Through its two divisions, the Division of Economic Development (DED) and the Division of Capital Investment (DCI), OIED provides grants, loan guarantees, and technical assistance.
