Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario: Using Measurement-Based Care to Enhance Mental Health and Addiction Services for Young People
Youth Wellness Hub Ontario (YWHO) is a provincial initiative with 14 established integrated youth service hubs across the province. This webinar will describe the features of the YWHO model, with a particular focus on the implementation of measurement-based care within clinical services for youth between the ages of 12 and 25. In addition, this webinar will highlight the importance of including measurements that are meaningful and sensitive to youth’s goals and developmental stages.

Joanna Henderson
Executive Director @Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario
Dr. Joanna Henderson is Director of the Margaret and Wallace McCain Centre for Child, Youth & Family Mental Health at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and Executive Director of Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario. She is also a Senior Scientist at CAMH and a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. Her work aims to improve access to high quality, integrated services for youth with substance use and/or mental health concerns and their families.
Deb Chiodo
Director, Data Management and Evaluation @Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario
Deb Chiodo is the Director of Data Management and Evaluation for Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health and Assistant Professor at Western University. Her research focuses on understanding the implementation, evaluation, and sustainability of evidence-based mental health and addiction interventions in real-world settings.
