This session focuses to answer that question as well as other questions related to AT processes and AT services. It may serve as an introduction for some or a review for others. Essential quality AT services for children and students with disabilities starts with having a core understanding of AT. Opportunities to ask questions will be included in the session.
After participating in this session, individuals will
-state a functional definition of AT that defines the scope and purpose of AT
-identify a process used to provide quality AT services to children and students
-summarize AT services that are defined in special education law that apply to all students receiving special education services.
