(Founding Rabbi Emeritus @Bet Shalom Congregation) Norman M. Cohen is the Founding Rabbi Emeritus of Bet Shalom Congregation in Minnetonka, Minnesota, and a former rabbi of Rockdale Temple in Cincinnati. He teaches at several Colleges and congregations in the Twin Cities and Arizona, and at his alma maters: Holy Cross College and Hebrew Union College. He is the author of two of his own books: Jewish Bible Personages in the New Testament and Sacred Architecture: The Building of Bet Shalom and is a contributing author in Text Messages: A Torah Commentary for Teens, and Keeping Faith in Rabbis, as well as Early Christian Texts on Jews and Judaism, and numerous journal articles and sermons. His career includes service to a wide range of organizations in the Jewish and general community. He spends part of his summer each year at OSRUI, the oldest of the Reform movement’s camps. He is married to the former Andrea Winnick, and they have a son and daughter-in-law, TJ & Carley, and 2 grandchildren Wyatt and Maeve, who live in Chicago. Dilshad D. Ali (Blog and Content Editor @The Haute Take (media arm of Haute Hijab)) Dilshad D. Ali is the Blog and Content Editor of The Haute Take, the media arm of Haute Hijab, which covers all things pertaining to Muslim women. Prior, Ms. Ali was managing editor of Patheos Muslim at Patheos.com and editor of Altmuslim, where she managed a team of nearly 30 columnists, contributors and bloggers, and blogged on intersections of faith, family and autism at The Muslimah Next Door. She covered Muslims and Islam in America for over 20 years for a variety of media outlets, including The Atlantic, The New York Times, Religion News Service, and others. She has appeared on national TV and NPR, and been interviewed by New York Times and Washington Post.Her other passion is autism advocacy, as her eldest son is autistic. She is on the advisory board for MUHSEN (Muslims Understanding & Helping Special Ed Needs), as well as a number of autism boards in Virginia. Ms. Ali is a first-generation Muslim-American who makes her home in Virginia with her husband, 3 children and 2 cats. Thomas Reynolds PhD, MTS (Theologian | Associate Professor of Theology @Emmanuel College at the Toronto School of Theology, in the University of Toronto) Tom Reynolds is Associate Professor of Theology at Emmanuel College at the Toronto School of Theology, in the University of Toronto. He earned his PhD and MTS from Vanderbilt University. He is parent and advocate with a son diagnosed on the autism spectrum. His book, Vulnerable Communion: A Theology of Disability and Hospitality, reflects on this experience and seeks to envision faith communities wide with welcome. The book was shortlisted for the Archbishop of Canterbury’s “Michael Ramsey Prize.” Tom is presently working on completing another book on theology of care. He also enjoys playing piano at St. Andrew’s United Church on Sundays and performing with jazz groups.
