Identifying & Supporting Prospective Loran Scholars: Information Session for Educators & Youth Supporters in the Territories
The Loran Scholars Foundation is committed to identifying and supporting high-potential high school and Cegep students in Canada to realize their full potential.

If you are an educator or someone who works with youth in the territories, join us to learn how to best identify and support students whom you can encourage to apply for the Loran Award—Canada’s largest and most comprehensive undergraduate merit award.

During this information session you will hear from a staff member at Loran as well as two Loran Scholars:

2020 Loran Scholar, Adithi Balaji spent most of her life in Yellowknife, NT. She now studies Math and Physics at the University of Victoria and is passionate about mathematics education and environmental restoration.

Emma is a 2019 Rebanks Family Loran Scholar from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. She is currently in her fourth year at Queen’s University working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Global Development Studies and a Bachelor of Education.

Includes time for a Q&A.
