Description
This study re-evaluates the relationship between maternal education and the double burden of malnutrition (DBM) in households, focusing on the impact of micro- and macroeconomic factors, in particular economic and social globalization. Using a multilevel analysis based on a decomposition framework, the authors challenge the conventional view that maternal education always protects against DBM.
