Class 2: How Exercise Helps to Prevent Type 2 Diabetes
A moderate-to vigorous regime of daily exercise helps reduce diabetes risk factors by lowering blood glucose levels and helping to control weight and waist size.

This Workshop will begin after a brief review of Class 1 in our series. We will then discuss different activities and exercises appropriate for your age, overall health, and level of fitness. This will include demonstrations and explanations of basic exercise components (cardiovascular, strength and flexibility/balance) that can be modified based on personal need. The workshop will end with a review of resources and questions.
