Beech Leaf Disease an Emerging Threat and the Latest Research
Beech leaf disease (BLD) was first identified in Ohio in 2012. The disease so far has been found to affect native and European beech species, causes damage to a tree’s leaves leading to reduced vigor, and can eventually lead to tree mortality. This presentation will discuss the background of this disease in the US and what research is underway to manage this disease.
