Teaching & Assessing Leadership & Management Skills for Public Health Students

Leadership & management is a required component of CEPH-accredited MPH & DrPH curricula, is often taught at some level in bachelor’s degrees in public health, and is more rarely addressed in MS & PhD programs.

Nearly all stakeholders agree that these are important concepts for students, but the terms have a variety of meanings. The webinar will include faculty from an accredited PHP who will discuss their scholarship on practical leadership issues for health department employees and how that can translate to classroom instruction.
