Session 1: ARC Platform Familiarization (2023-02-13)

This free session introduces attendees to the ARC Platform. With the ARC Platform, organizations have the tools and resources to manage, collaborate, and implement their accessibility initiatives.

The objective for this session is for each attendee to come away with specific goals for their organization and a practical approach to independently achieve those goals.

At its core, the ARC Platform provides accessibility monitoring which runs a suite of accessibility rules on your organization’s websites/web applications and essential user flows.

Automated testing, when combined with ARC’s expansive knowledge base, empowers your developers and designers to address issues one-by-one and grow their understanding of accessibility over time.

Getting started with accessibility could seem overwhelming. This session looks at the ARC Platform from the perspective of a tech professional, that may not be an expert on accessibility, and takes them through the steps on how to detect, understand, and correct accessibility issues.

This free session is the first session in the ARC Empowerment Program and is a prerequisite for other empowerment sessions.

Come have your accessibility questions answered by TPGi’s accessibility experts. This is a participatory session where we go off-script and share strategies for common use cases. There is time at the end for questions specifically related to your organization.
