Koalas can be devilishly hard to spot in the treetops, but you'll increase your chances when you register for our FREE 1-hr lunchtime webinar 'Are You Koalafied?'
Matt Cecil from Wildlife Queensland and Dr Sean FitzGibbon from the University of Queensland will explain how to find, identify, sex, and survey these iconic marsupials and what to do if you spot injured or ill koalas.
You'll learn how to detect the presence of koalas from scats, tracks, scratches and vocalisations – all useful skills to help you get involved in citizen science surveys, too, like the Logan Koala Count in November.
You’ll also discover more about the challenges koalas face and how you can help reduce the threats. Plus, you'll get a glimpse into brand-new University of Queensland koala research and ongoing community and landholder assistance projects offered by Logan City Council.
We hope you can join us and let family and friends know about the event too. Even if you can't join us in real-time on the day, all sign-ups receive a link to download the webinar later, so please register today.
