Topic
Addressing Data Governance for Locally-Led Health Supply Chains
Description
Join Chemonics for a Global Digital Development Forum satellite session on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 7:30-8:30am EDT focused on the challenges and best practices surrounding data governance for locally-led health supply chains.
Panelists will explore the myriad of data stakeholders in local supply chains as they discuss who owns what data and the challenges to obtaining good data. This session examines data ownership and sharing, and how data privacy of patients complicates these issues. Through an exploration of examples of effective collaboration between data stakeholders, audience members will understand how panelists achieved agreement on data use and ownership, including how they built trust and buy-in with stakeholders. The session will shed light on master data and data harmonization efforts in various countries.
Participants will leave the session with an understanding of the complicated web of data management and ownership, and the vital role that data plays in building locally-led supply chains.
