Sustainable Fashion - Impact of the new EU Textile Strategy on fashion companies
Description
A few weeks ago the European Commission launched her long awaited new EU strategy for sustainable and circular textiles. This policy will have a big impact on fashion companies, and aims to create a greener, more competitive sector by changing the rules for production and consumption of textiles. It will introduce new design requirements, greenwashing regulation, rules to prevent overproduction and overconsumption and several other new initiatives that will definitely impact your business as a fashion company.
The partners behind the Sustainable Fashion & Textiles Belgium page on LinkedIn, want to inform you about the impact of this new strategy on a company level. We want to:
- filter out the most important and concrete proposals that have been made
- give you an idea of the expected timing for the different initiatives and their implementation.
In this way you can already take the new rules into account where possible, or start preparing for the future.
This webinar is organized by Flanders DC and Vlaanderen Circulair in partnership with WBDM, MAD, The Shift, Creamoda, Fedustria, Service Public de Wallonie, Bruxelles Environnement – Leefmilieu Brussel and Service Public Fédéral Sante Publique, Sécurité de la chaine alimentaire et environnement - Federale overheidsdienst volksgezondheid, veiligheid van de voedselketen en leefmilieu.
