The Impact of Caregiving on Mental Health: Supporting Employees and their Families
Description
According to recent estimates, 1 in 5 US workers serve as family caregivers. Caring for loved ones while balancing workforce demands can take a considerable toll on an employee’s mental and emotional health – often leading to stress, anxiety, and burnout. How can organizations uncover these challenges and better support their employees and plan members? We’ll dive into strategies for effective caregiving and mental health support in a panel discussion with industry and clinical leaders from Big Health and Family First.
Together we’ll address:
-The mental and emotional challenges of caregiving
-Opportunities to improve mental and emotional support in the caregiving journey
-Utilizing employer benefits and best-in-class solutions to improve outcomes
