Marin Coalition is pleased to present a preview on the upcoming November 3 elections with Dick Spotswood, popular Marin Independent Journal columnist, and Greg Brockbank, longtime local political pundit. Our election preview presentations have historically been one of the most popular events we sponsor. Our guests will provide us with an update and commentary on local election races and measures, statewide candidates and ballot measures, and an outlook on the national Congressional races.

A frequent speaker and writer, he appears frequently on public access TV to analyze and discuss local elections. Greg is a 30+ year attorney, current principal of Marin Law Center, senior member and a past chair of the Marin Democratic Party and has served on the boards of several dozen civic and political organizations in Marin, including 22 years as an elected official on the College of Marin Board of Trustees and on the San Rafael City Council. Dick Spotswood (Columnist @Marin Independent Journal) DICK SPOTSWOOD is the politics and government columnist for The Marin Independent Journal. His IJ columns appear every Sunday and Wednesday. A San Francisco native, Dick is a former Mill Valley city council member (1980-92) and three-term Mayor. He served for ten years (1982-92) as a Director of the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway & Transportation District representing Marin’s eleven cities and towns. After four decades as an attorney, Dick has now retired from the law.
