Connecting the SDGs: International Human Rights Day, EDI, and Responsible Business Conduct in Canada

In recognition of International Human Rights Day on December 10th, the UN Global Compact Network Canada is holding a webinar titled “Connecting the SDGs: International Human Rights Day, EDI, and Responsible Business Conduct in Canada”. Companies that proactively implement EDI practices benefit from the fact that they are respecting human rights and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this webinar, we will hear from experts on why EDI should be a key component of your corporate human rights efforts and how to implement strong corresponding policies, programs, and initiatives. The goal of this session is to demonstrate to Canadian businesses, especially those signed up to the 50-30 Challenge, the importance of addressing EDI as a corporate human rights concern, and to showcase leading actions that any business can take to build a more inclusive and resilient culture.
