Ehrmann practices in the areas of corporate venturing, private equity and emerging growth companies and Venture Capital. He has transactional experience from both the M&A and finance sides of his practice. He has worked on numerous IPOs and private equity transactions, across a variety of industries, to a greater degree than many of his local peers. As a member of the Corporate Venturing Team, Mark works with both emerging companies and investors, offering experience on both sides of the transactional equation rather than just one or the other. He is an effective outside counsel because so many of his clients have very small in-house legal staffs, and Mark is adept at functioning as though he is inside counsel. Jeff Fugal (Partner @Quarles & Brady LLP) Jeffrey B. Fugal practices in the areas of federal income tax, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, business laws and limited liability company and partnership law. His recent experience includes strategic advice and assistance to entrepreneurs and businesses in forming and restructuring business organizations (including start-up companies and choice of entity issues). He represents clients in various venture capital investment and private equity transactions as well as negotiating and drafting LLC operating agreements, partnership agreements, and shareholder agreements. Marc Singer (Managing Partner, Technology @OUP) Marc has spent over 25 years in venture capital. He helped develop and launch OUP wit Bob Adelson and Lou Berneman in 2009. Marc is responsible for overseeing and approving all Partnership investments and all other Partnership and organizational activities. Marc focuses on technology investments. At the present time, Marc serves on the board of Streetlight Data and has previously served on the boards of numerous OUP portfolio companies. Beth Grafstrom (Vice President of Finance @OUP) Beth joined OUP in 2015. Previously, Beth worked at New Mountain Capital, first as a Private Equity Fund Accountant and then as the Business Development Company Controller. Prior to joining New Mountain Capital, Beth was a Senior Associate in the Banking Capital Markets Assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
