Clinical Trials 101 | Essais Cliniques 101

Have you been wondering about the ins and outs of clinical trials? Join us to learn about the types of clinical trials, including those open to the IBD community in Canada. People with Crohn’s and colitis and their caregivers will get to know what to expect when participating in a clinical trial as well as the potential risks and benefits associated to it.

This event will be offered in English, with live simultaneous French interpretation.

Speaker: Dr. Christopher Ma (MD, MPH) is an Assistant Professor in the Section of Gastroenterology at the University of Calgary. Dr. Ma was Crohn’s and Colitis Canada’s Rising Star Award recipient and Takeda Canada’s PIONEER Grant recipient in 2022.
