Webinar Speakers

Emily Haeckel (Management Information Specialist )
Emily has worked in housing program operations and public reporting for more than 15 years. She began her career in the Chicago Field Office, worked for the Capital Programs Division during the Recovery Act, on Treasury’s TARP Housing Programs and USA Spending.gov and came back to our Office in the Fall of 2019. Emily spends most of her time supporting the development, maintenance and technical assistance to users on the EPIC System. She is also the primary point of contact for the Physical Needs Assessment.

Chris Granger (Housing Capital Improvement Specialist )
Chris has worked for HUD since 2009, partnering with numerous PHAs in their successful implementation of Capital Fund Grants. Chris administers the Lead-Based Paint Capital Fund Program and the Housing-Related Hazards Capital Fund Program.  Chris provides technical assistance/monitoring for compliance with environmental, procurement, and administrative requirements.

Damien Thomas (General Engineer )
Damien has over 10 years of experience with HUD, serving as an engineer in the Philadelphia and Washington DC Field Offices. He currently is a General Engineer in the Capital Programs Division, where he co-chairs the Capital Fund Lead Base Paint Program and provides technical assistance to both PHA’s and FO staff on Capital Fund Program.
