Gillian Robertson
Originally from the North of England, Gillian has been living in the ski resort of Grimentz in Switzerland for 14 years, after moving from the UK to Switzerland for work 18 years ago. She has also lived and worked in Italy and Belgium. She and her husband have 3 grown-up daughters and two grandchildren all now living in England. Gillian was diagnosed with RRMS in 2017 after developing symptoms the year before. Finding Overcoming MS through her own research, she has been following the program ever since. Undeterred by her diagnosis, Gillian realised her dream of completing a Diploma over two years, in cuisine and patisserie at the Cordon Bleu culinary school and has since started her own business as a private chef. In her spare time, when not making the most of the great outdoors, you will find Gillian in her kitchen indulging in her love of food, experimenting and adapting dishes to the OMS way of eating. Ashley Madden
Ashley is a full-time food lover, trained and passionate plant-based chef, pharmacist, certified holistic nutrition consultant, author of The Plant-Based Cookbook: Vegan, Gluten-Free, and Oil-Free Recipes for Lifelong health, and food photographer. A diagnosis of multiple sclerosis triggered an overhaul of her personal and professional life and ultimately, she traded prescriptions for plants! She shares her flavourful and inventive plant-based, gluten-free and oil-free culinary creations on her recipe blog RiseShineCook.ca. Originally from Canada, Ashley has moved around the world from New York to the Netherlands and currently resides in Taipei with her husband and beloved collection of cookbooks.
