National Media Workshop in Indonesia: Applying One Health approach in reporting on health and development issues
All media from Indonesia (national, sub-national, and community/ innovative media of Indonesia) are welcome to participate in the National Media Workshop in Indonesia on "Applying ONE HEALTH approach in reporting on health and development issues".

This media workshop is jointly organized by the Asia Pacific Media Alliance for Health and Development (APCAT Media), along with Asia Pacific Cities Alliance for Health and Development (APCAT), School of Public Health at Udayana University, the Indonesian Health Professional Association (IAKMI), CNS, and Consortium for Press Freedom (CPF) Indonesia.

This media workshop aims to:
• Enhance Indonesian journalists’ analytical/research skills in using One Health approach in reporting on range of health issues that require it
• Encourage journalists to take a more multidisciplinary perspective when investigating and writing on issues at the intersection of human, animal and environmental health
• Provide journalists with a more comprehensive understanding of the problem and potential solutions on a large variety of health, environmental, social-cultural and development issues
• Educate the public on the importance of One Health Initiative through their in-depth coverage and journalistic works.
• Provide a skills-building interactive workshop session on how to develop a news article/ report on an issue that requires One Health approach
