"Does Culture Matter?" Trafficking in Children and Culture
During this workshop participants will explore the relevance of culture and cultural misinformation in domestic child trafficking cases. Faculty will challenge current understanding of culture and will provide a more critical reconsideration of culture.

Participants will begin by analyzing the links between their own cultural background and the culture and social mores of the courts and communities. Faculty will explore strategies to reduce bias and enhance cultural competence.
