The Biden administration in September 2021 stated its goal of having sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) make up 10% of jet fuel in use by 2030. But whereas other aviation sectors have embraced SAF, it’s still an abstract concept to many helicopter operators.
What’s in SAF? Is it safe for helicopter operations, especially critical work such as air ambulance transport? How do we access SAF, and what are the benefits of this currently higher-priced option?
To answer these important questions and others, HAI is holding a two-part HAI@Work webinar series to help demystify SAF and highlight how the fuel can help our industry stay on the leading edge of aircraft operations.
Join us Sep. 23 for part one of the series, where HAI and Avfuel Corp. will offer an “SAF 101” overview, including how SAF can benefit your organization.
