Using NCAPPS Resources to Support Compliance with the HCBS Final Rule Requirements for Person-Centered Planning

The National Center on Advancing Person-Centered Practices and Systems (NCAPPS) is an initiative from the Administration for Community Living (ACL) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) that helps States, Tribes, and Territories implement person-centered thinking, planning, and practice in line with U.S. Department of Health and Human Services policy. Since 2018, NCAPPS has maintained a national clearinghouse of actionable, up-to-date resources to support the promotion of systems change that makes person-centered principles not just an aspiration, but a reality in the lives of people who use long-term services and supports across the lifespan. In this webinar, NCAPPS and national partners will provide an overview of key NCAPPS resources and outline how they can potentially assist human services agencies in meeting and surpassing the Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Final Rule requirements for person-centered planning which came into effect in 2014.
