William Conte, MD, MS
MS Specialist, Comprehensive MS Center at Methodist Hospitals, Merrillville, IN
Dr. Conte earned a BS degree in Neurobiology from the University of Florida, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He graduated from medical school at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and completed an adult Neurology residency at Loyola University Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Neuroimmunology at The University of Chicago through a National MS Society Sylvia Lawry Award and earned a master’s degree in Public Health Sciences. With a strong interest in clinical trials and research, he has been the principal or co-investigator on multiple clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies. The MS Center at Methodist Hospitals, which Dr. Conte leads, is recognized as a “Partner in MS Care” by the National MS Society. Dr. Conte is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Neurology at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. He frequently lectures on several topics and presents research at National and International conferences.
