FEFLOW – Modelling geothermal systems

Join the fourth session of our new monthly webinar series! These FEFLOW-related webinars focus on recurring training for groundwater modellers, geologists and hydrogeologists around the world and will take place on the third Thursday of every month. We will cover a variety of groundwater modelling topics relevant to any audience. Each session consists of 45 minutes of interactive hands-on exercises and 15 minutes of group discussion (Q/A).

In our June instalment, you will learn about basic concepts for modelling geothermal systems in shallow aquifers.

By the end of the webinar, you’ll be able to:
- Implement open-loop systems
- Implement closed-loop systems
- Check hydraulic impacts to the geothermal installations

This webinar requires certain knowledge of FEFLOW and its graphical interface.
