7-8 Grade Virtual Tour: Culinary Arts - Healthy Tostadas: Sabores Nutritivos
Who harvests the foods we eat? Students will learn how food makes it way from farm fields to our plates. Students will explore a variety of ingredients that are healthy alternatives to fast food. Inspire students to cook for themselves with an easy-to-follow recipe while acknowledging the hands who harvest foods in the fields.

Workshop: Let´s get cooking! Students will explore a demonstration of a healthy Mexican-inspired tostada recipe. Students will identify nutritious ingredients and flavors in Mexican cooking, as well as understand the importance of nutritional values in food.
