Description
In this presentation, you’ll discover the inspiring stories of remarkable women who helped shape the Centennial State’s history. Curator of Politics, Government, and Archives, Shaun Boyd, will tell the stories of 10 women from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. From Josefa Carson and Amache Prowers, who embodied the early Spanish and Native history of Southern Colorado, to Florence Martin, an Australian physicist who inherited a department store in downtown Denver, these ladies left their mark on Colorado.
