Community Health Needs Assessment and Community Benefit: Opportunities for Collaboration

Through community health needs assessments, hospitals work with the community to identify unmet needs and then implement a plan to prioritize and address them. Nonprofit hospitals often fund some or most of this work using community benefit dollars.
