The importance of information standards to support better care

The standardisation of data has been a significant driver for health and care organisations for a number of years. Deciding what information should be shared between the NHS, social care and people who use services and how this can be done safely is fundamental. The Professional Record Standards Body (PRSB) was commissioned by NHS England to define the information that should be shared, a ‘Core Information Standard,’ by consulting widely with people who use services as well as health and care professionals. Orion Health is the first supplier to have adopted this standard into their solution and see this as critical to delivering interoperable shared care records.

In this webinar, you will learn more about the Core Information Standard and how its adoption could deliver profound improvements in the quality, safety and efficiency of care. Ben Wilson will provide insight into the conformance process from a supplier perspective and an NHS representative will describe their organisation's work to implement the standard.
