RTA webinar: Domestic and family violence provisions while renting

As part of the Housing Legislation Amendment Act 2021, the domestic and family violence provisions came into effect on 20 October 202 and allow tenants experiencing DFV to either end their interest in a tenancy quickly or remain in the rental property safely.

The webinar will discuss the process for ending a tenancy due to DFV and what occurs for any remaining tenants. We will run through possible scenarios and how these should be approached.
