Terry Palisch
VP of Technology and Engineering @CARBO Ceramics
Terry Palisch currently serves as the VP of Technology and Engineering at CARBO Ceramics, located in Richardson, TX. After completing his BS in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Missouri-Rolla, he worked as a senior petroleum engineer for 10 years with ARCO in Alaska and for four years with ARCO in Algeria, North Africa. In 2004 he joined CARBO Ceramics, and in his current position he leads a team of technologists dedicated to developing and championing new products and services as well as advising clients on completion/fracture optimization. He has authored over 50 SPE papers, is past chairman of the SPE Dallas Section and ATCE Technical Program Chair. Terry is currently serves as the SPE International Board’s Completions Technical Director. He has been awarded the SPE MidCon Region Completions Optimization & Technology Award and the Regional Service Award. In 2018 he was recognized as a Distinguished Member of SPEI, and received the award for Distinguished Service.
