To tackle climate change and to achieve climate neutrality by 2050, while achieving faster independence from fossil fuel imports, the EU must step-up and speed-up the energy transition. The RePowerEU Plan has set out several action points to do so. Accelerating the development of the European hydrogen market, thereby, plays a crucial role. Despite the blueprint outlined, there are still many challenges and questions that need to be addressed.
In the workshop we want to discuss the Hydrogen Accelerator Plan outlined by the European Commission in the RePowerEU Plan and cross-check whether it fits with member states perspectives and plans. We will do so by focussing on the country cases Germany, Poland and Portugal.
