Rochelle Walker
Rochelle Walker is a U of A Graduate with a BScOT. Rochelle currently holds a position on the Edmonton Zone Home Living Practice Development Team as a Clinical Lead. Her experience in home care has spanned over the last 14 years and she is excited to bring her knowledge and experience to the Finding Balance webinar series. Rochelle has provided countless assessments and interventions within homes in the Edmonton area. Reviewing home safety, aging in place and discussing potential benefits of home modification/renovations is a comfortable conversation Rochelle has with clients, their families and her frontline colleagues within home care.
Ric Alves
Ric Alves graduated in 1999 from the U of A with a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. Ric currently supports staff in the Edmonton Zone Home Living program as a Co-Clinical Lead with Rochelle. Ric has spent time as a sole charge OT for two nursing homes in Red Deer, as a front line practitioner in home living (homecare) and as a therapist lead at the Glenrose Rehab Hospital Cardiac Outpatient program in addition to his current role over the span of 20 years. Ric has a passion when talking about Aging in Place, Fall Prevention and Person Centered Care and looks forward to sharing his knowledge as part of the Finding Balance Webinar series.
