Engaging With Hard-to-Reach Sectors
Presenter:
Kim Linkel, MLD, CPP, GOC
Director, Coalition for a Drug-Free Batesville

Description:
Are you looking for ways to truly engage some of those harder to reach sectors? If so, this session is for you. This session will look at innovative ways to bring all sectors to the table and keep them there. From the business sector to the parent sector to the medical sector; we will take a look at the sectors many times coalitions are challenged to get to the table. Often times coalitions aren’t sure to who reach out to within a specific sector or how to start that relationship building process, and in this session we will talk about getting them to the table, engaging them, and keeping them as long-term partners. Specific examples will be shared as to how different communities brought partners from different sectors to the table and have helped them find their why.

Objectives:
1. Identify specific community members/sector representatives within your community that you can reach out to.
2. Build engagement with community members from all sectors.
3. Have invigorating ideas of how to keep those current members at the table and engaged.

This webinar is provided at no cost. PF! will be applying for Prevention CEUs and CHES hours. The prevention education domain for this session is: P4- Community Organization.
