Christina Naify

Christina Naify is a Research Associate at the Applied Research Laboratories, University of Texas at Austin. Her research interests include acoustic metamaterials, and additive manufacturing (3D printing) with specific emphasis on dynamic properties of additively manufactured materials. After receiving her PhD in Materials Science from the University of Southern California, she has held positions at the US Naval Research Lab, and the Jet Propulsion Lab before joining the Applied Research Labs in 2020. Dr. Naify is currently the chair of the ASA Technical Committee on Structural Acoustics and Vibration, a member of the Technical Council, and chair of the Tutorials, Hot Topics, and Short Courses Committee. In 2021 she served as co-editor of the Additive Manufacturing and Acoustics special issue of the Journal of the Acoustical Society of America.
